Summer is here and you're busy! So busy, that sometimes you don't make time to nuture yourself with good old fashioned girl time. Fear Not - We got you!

The second half of 2026 is packed full of events and activities offering something for everyone, whether you want to meet new people, connect with dear friends, or simply get out for some fresh air metaphoricallly as well as literally.

Community Gatherings That Bring People Together

• 63rd National Convention. The AXO National Convention is going to include a gaggle of Omegas this year! Possibly more! If you're in the Dallas area; respond to this email and we'll make sure the road warrior Omegas catch up with you.

• Outdoor Concerts: This summer Sigma Psi Sigma will be dancing the night away (until 9:00 PM) on the University Village lawn on August 5th when Nite Wave performs the best of the 1980s pop and rock. Evite coming soon!

• Football Games: There's nothing like an Apple Cup Watch Party and this year it is at Jen's house in Woodinville. Cheer on the Cougs on September 6th with your favorite AXOs! Looking for something next level? Get your tickets to Cougs at AZ Cardinals where you can gather with Cougs, AXOs, Gardiner Minshew (we hope), and the Seahawks!

• Christmas Tea: It's our most popular event of the year and our most tasty! Join us in early December when we embrace the holidays, enjoy tasty nibbles, and of course mix and mingle.

  
  

Giving Back to Your WSU AXO Community

It really does feel good to give; and here are just a few opportunities coming up in 2H 2026!

• Work Week Love: SPS will be road tripping to Pullman to visit our collegiate sisters for an hour during work week to give them a break, play some Omega trivia, and hand out some goodies. SPS did it for the first time last year and a great time was had by all. Bonus for this year: See the new $250,000 remodel!!! Stay tuned for more details!

• Omega Recruitment Lunch Fundraiser: In late July; we'll be asking for donations for the Recruitment Lunch provided by Omega Alumnae for the 5th year in a row. We're funding the last meal served after a long work week and the night before Recruitment starts. Support our collegiate sisters by chipping in for a nourishing meal!

• Annual Membership Drive: We have a very fun theme planned for this year's membership drive and a special contest for early bird members. The drive begins on the first day of WSU Recruitment. Stay tuned for the deets but the early bird contest runs in late July.

Traditions

• Founders Day: We honor our Founders by coming together to celebrate Alpha Chi Omega’s heritage. Last Founders Day was celebrated at a WA Winery with a free wine tasting for SPS members. More info coming soon!

• Fall Hall of Commitment: Welcome graduating seniors to the alumnae sisterhood by participating in the Hall of Commitment. We'll keep you posted on how you can participate.

• Annual Meeting: Let's reflect on the bits and bobs of 2026 in our annual meeting. This meeting gives us a chance to reflect as well as plan for 2027 as a community.
