Omega Chapters: Bella Hrutfiord

Chapter One

When Sigma Psi Sigma Young Alum member Bella Hrutfiord (MC23) went through recruitment at the University of Mississippi, better known as Ole Miss, she didn't know that the Lamba Pi chapter would be the first chapter in her Alpha Chi journey.

This new chapter founded in 2022; offered Bella the chance to immerse herself in the SEC sports culture while also shaping the personality of Lamba Pi. She experience Southern Hospitality at its finest.

It was a transformational year for Bella and, lucky for Omega, she returned to her home state of Washington for her sophmore year.

Chapter Two

Bella arrived at her second Alpha Chi chapter, the Omega chapter, full of enthusiasm and ready to take on responsibility. She jumped into the Executive Board as the new Ritual and Fraternity Advisor (RFA) and brought her Ole Miss experience with her.

As a person of deep faith, this role resonated with Bella for a variety of reasons.

The VP, RFA understands the importance of rituals and traditions. It is her responsibility to ensure they are practiced with integrity, purpose, and just the right amount of flare. Rituals and traditions keep Alpha Chi Omega strong by creating shared, positive experiences and creating a deep sense of belonging. Thank you Bella!

Chapter Three

The path for Bella would take her to hometown in Blaine, WA for what would have been her third year in college. This meant that Bella was eligable to join the WSU AXO Alumnae chapter! We're thrilled to have Bella as our youngest Sigma Psi Sigma member.

Blaine offered the chance to be surrounded by family and persue her creative passions. She is now employed at a small business that specializes in promotional apparel. Everyday, she is surrounded by colors, textures, and patterns. Everyday, she makes choices that challenge her problem solving and cognitive skills. And everyday, she creates something beautiful - or at least unique. :)

Spoiler Alert: Bella is officially OFF THE MARKET

As many of you know, Bella met someone while she was at WSU. The funny thing is that he lived in her home town. The connection was immediate.

Over the past year, they started with a long distance relationship. When Bella returned home for the summer they were able to build a relationship that lived in real time. And now, Bella is engaged! Congratulations from all your Alpha Chi Omega sisters!
