The Alums Take Pullman!

April 27, 205 was a great day to be an Alpha Chi Omega alumnae!

This past Sunday, sisters Diana Butch (Beta Nu MC21), Beth Collins (Omega MC86), Megan O’Meara (Omega MC16), Carla Pittman (Omega MC85), Laura Williams (Omega MC88), and Jennifer Yovin (Omega MC86) traveled from Seattle, Coeur D'Alene, and Pullman to host the Omega Hall of Commitment for 17 graduating AXO seniors. 

As many of you know, the Hall of Commitment ceremony is the final collegiate ritual of Alpha Chi Omega and celebrates sisters for a lifetime. The ritual is a formal and symbolic ceremony meant to strengthen the bonds of sisterhood, reflect on the wisdom, devotion, and achievement values of Alpha Chi Omega, as well as provide a sense of community and connection for graduates. Carnations and hugs were abundant. After the ceremony, the Omega chapter honored the alumnae with a Sunday Brunch and gifts. And...the alums were having so much fun they forgot to take photos! SMH

Being an alumnae of Alpha Chi Omega can mean different things to different sisters. We hope that sisters entering alumnae status this year, last year, and every year since 1885 embrace the alumnae status as an opportunity to live in a lifetime of Alpha Chi sisterhood and community. 

Cheers to the 17 Omega Chapter seniors graduating from Washing State University. The collegians will go forth knowing that there is a sisterhood of support. See you soon!
