From the carpeted phone booths of Omega to the iPhone screens of today, Alpha Chi has been calling every August and today is no different. But instead of pulling out the hot rollers for rush or the Dyson for recruitment, we're sending this email for the 2025-2026 membership drive for Sigma Psi Sigma, the alumnae chapter for WSU AXOs and for all AXO Alums who want to join our dynamic chapter.

Why renew or become a member?

All Alpha Chi Omega Alumnae Chapters depend on membership dues for national fees, operational expenses, and support for a collegiate chapter.

By paying dues to Sigma Psi Sigma, you enable our alumnae chapter the ability to:

• Host regular alumnae chapter meetings and events

• Support Alternatives to Violence in the Palouse

• Support Omega with sisterhood events

• Support sisters who need short-term assistance

This isn't about a financial ROI

We talk a lot about the benefits of membership but to be honest the true value isn't about a financial return on investment. The true value of a Sigma Psi Sigma membership is the framework it provides for sisterhood, friendship, and for giving back to the community.

Connection Options

Be it in person or virtually through Instagram, Facebook, the New Year's card, or emails like this one, Sigma Psi Sigma provides choices on how to and when to connect. If a post inspires you to reach out to a sister; we're thrilled. No AXO sister is alone. Love in the Bond is real.

While we realize there are many sisterly connections outside of Sigma Psi Sigma, we love getting together under the alumnae chapter umbrella too. I can still hear the cheers from the 2024 Apple Cup watch party and the laughter from the 2024 Christmas Tea. I remembered being shushed a few times by a restaurant patron at the Portland dinner.

We experiment with different activities in different cities. Some experiments are more successful than others and that's OK because we will always keep trying to improve the alumnae experience and we welcome your feedback.
